Young Dragon: A Bruce Lee Story receives a second extension!
Now running through March 29
at Seattle Children's Theatre.

Before he was a legend, Bruce Lee was just a young man trying to figure it all out—right here in Seattle. This action-packed, soul-searching story follows the Young Dragon as he navigates a new country and finds his voice. Through movement, magic, and heart, we meet the human behind the icon—flawed, fierce, and full of possibility. Watch as Lee learns to clear his brain by mimicking the white noise of water and begins fusing martial arts with philosophy. From street fights in Hong Kong to teaching self-defense and chasing big dreams, Bruce’s journey reminds us that finding your way means first figuring out who you are. Come see how Seattle shaped him into a flexible, fluid, and flowing master—and how he reshaped the world. Ages 8+

"Green is a funny and thoughtful writer, and her facility for comedy and her disinterest in providing easy answers make for a play that is fun and refreshing in a world that seems set on simplifying issues to ensure they’re easily digestible."

- Gemma Wilson, Seattle Times

"The play admirably intertwines themes of mortality, human kindness, our world's continuing environmental crisis, and loving but fractured familial bonds, delivered via a winning blend of humor, heart, and poignancy."

- Broadway World Los Angeles

"... all of this firmly establishing Green as one of the most prolific and whip-smart emerging playwrights around."

- San Diego Union Tribune

"To be able to capture that chaotic lightning in a bottle and make it this funny is a gift — I have truly not heard an audience laugh this hard in years."
- Seattle Times on The Bed Trick.
"The script is smart, hilarious and frequently touching."
- San Diego Union Tribune on Exotic Deadly: Or the MSG Play
